CyberHopper is a cyber-themed take on Frogger, created by a team for the Retro Twist Game Jam. Guide a frog through traffic and across moving platforms to fill five home pads, using WASD or the arrow keys.
Each attempt has a time limit, and the player starts with three lives. Scoring rewards new rows, reaching home, and finishing with time left. Waiting for a safe opening has to be balanced against moving quickly.
Temporary invincibility shields and speed boosts change the pace. Flashing effects show active power-ups, while leap animations, sounds, and the lives and timer displays provide feedback.
C# coroutines animate grid-based leaps, and 2D collision checks determine whether a landing is safe. Parenting the frog to a platform’s transform makes it move with that platform. Unity UI and TextMeshPro display menus, score, and remaining lives.
